Description
Happy 9th birthday to my blog.
It started out like the edit page, critiquing "life, school, music and everything in between."
It still does that sometimes. Other times, it's my saviour in the form of a journal.
The icons from the left to the center represent an element that I was going through while writing (or not writing).
Here's what they mean in the order that they are displayed in:
1. It started out with love and a way for me to wish, ahem, happy birthday to some people .
2. The fist in the air is the progression to student angst and rage against the system...I mean...machine.
3. Monitor? My love for computers, from programming to digital art remained prevalent. Due to which my dad once gifted my the most amazing monitor ever (at the time; but it still pretty much is amazing).
4. The microphone? I took to the stage in the last years of my high school. And during college.
5. The graduation cap is a symbol for me graduating school and college. What happened during my four year stay at college? I can't even.
6. Tie! I love ties! My accessory of choice (daily!) at my first ever job! At this amazing, amazing, amazing place called Ernst & Young. Lots of amazing people!
7. Heartbreak. Hmm. Well. Bestness to her.
8. "How about we start to put it in words then, Abhas?"
9. FHWORANGESTARSYMBOL. Also. FHW = a Few Hundred Words
What a coincidence. 9 is also the number of years it has been since the blog has been alive.
